Top 3 Best Electric Kettles

I don’t know how I have lived so long with out an electric kettle—but this simple kitchen appliance has changed my morning routine ( well really my kitchen routine in general!) Not only does it allow me to have hot water on demand for cooking or baby bottles, but it allows for me to pour the most perfect cup of tea and coffee.

When I was shopping around I found out that there are plenty of options out there but I here I will discuss a few of my favorites, from various price ranges.

This is the kettle that I am currently using in my home and I ABSOLUTELY love it. It comes in a variety of colors ( shown here below in my kitchen is the copper) but it also comes in 8 other colors as well. (Copper, steel, Stone Blue, Warm Pink, White, and Matte black with three varieties of handle choices). It comes with an easy-to-read LCD display, which shows the water temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit as well as having hold options for you to perfect your perfect cup. This sleek minimalist design also offers a 60-minute hold and a brew stopwatch. It allows you to set the temperature to whatever degree you desire. Water never touches any plastic either- total score! I have also found very little variation in the amount of time it took to bring it to a boil. If you are looking for the same high-quality product with a more classic design, check out the Fellow’s Corvo Kettle.

This kettle is not only cute, but it is super easy to use, with five preset temperature buttons- just pick your brew (green, oolong, black/boil, coffee, as well as one custom preset). It boils water efficiently within the stainless steel vessel. It also has the very modern touch of being Bluetooth compatible, and easy to control straight from your phone. This kettle comes in two colors, black and steel.

Bodum Bistro Electric Gooseneck Kettle

This sleek and affordable kettle comes from the trusted company of Bodum. While the price point ( and you can often find it on sale) is great away goes the convenience of the settings and other more modern touches. Bodum makes a wide variety of electric kettles, but the Bistro model falls in sync with my love of the gooseneck design. Its sleek spout allows for an easy and accurate pour for that perfect cup of coffee. Water does come in contact with plastic during boiling which is a major downside for me, but other than that it is almost perfect, with no extra bells and whistles, just a simple sleek easy-to-use kettle.

Capacity: 1 Liter
Wattage: 1200W
Dimensions: 11.5” x 5.25” x 9”
Price: $66

There are plenty of other great electric kettles out there such as the Cuisinart GK-1 Digital Gooseneck kettle or the Smeg KLF04 Crus- with a more 50’s retro aesthetic. The Fellow is by far my favorite kettle and is durable and lives up to its higher price point.
